General foot and nail care
More and more of us are now consulting podiatrists (formerly known as chiropodists); Common treatments include, verrucae, corns and callus, ingrowing toe nails, fungal nail treatments, fungal skin treatments, sweaty feet, athletes' feet and more
Diabetes
Diabetes is a condition that can have a significant effect on your feet. It is important to have regular reviews with your podiatrist, during which they will assess:

Your ability to detect pressure and vibration

An assessment of the blood flowing down to your feet and other vascular conditions such as atrial fibrillation
Biomechanics
Biomechanics is the science concerned with the action of forces on the body - pains and discomforts throughout the foot and ankle are best diagnosed and treated via a biomechanical assessment
On completion of the assessment, the findings will be discussed with you and recommendations made for the most appropriate treatment, which may include exercises, restoration of joint mobility, insoles or 'orthoses', or a combination of these.
Osteopath
Osteopathy is a drug-free, non-invasive manual therapy that aims to improve health across all body systems by manipulating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework.
